are all 77 trans ams black and gold?

No..the black and gold was a special edition or something. They came in wide variety of colors IIRC.

Serch images of 78 pontiac firebirds to answer your question they were silver,blue red any color really.

that helped thanks theres only 2 fire chickens i can use so im either between red gold and black. and i think i have a blue fire chicken elsewhere if i find it itll definetly be that funky sky blue

A good many came in a Brown metallic finish . Infact , brown was a top selling color for anything out of the " General " for a couple of years .......... The Firebird decals were a Gold or dark Yellow color . Ed Shaver
