If you took away the roof rack, board, Fuchs, & SOME of the rust, it looks like my 1st daily driver circa 1978!!! Groovy dude!!! But don't cuz it looks way cooler like this!

Awesome work on a horrible kit. I've built a few of these, and you did an amazing job with what the kit had to offer.

Unfourtunately, this is the part where I have to be a dick. Beetle roofracks generally have have 6 legs, yours should have a pair in the middle, which clamps to the driprails. You used the front turn signals for the taillamps, If I remember, they did this on the boxart, too. Also those fenders would be fiberglass with those flares. No offense intended, I just know the subject matter, and offering some things to look out for.

No offence taken, Jason. Yes, it's a horrible kit, but I kinda felt sorry for it and wanted to give it a good home!

I did wonder about the tail lights...but as I had no alternative, I used what I could. As for the roofrack supports, I know the majority of racks have 6 legs, but some do not:

I'd like to do a similar treatment of either the Hasegawa or Tamiya kits. When I do, I promise to give the rack 6 legs! :D
