mikemodeler Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Saw a post on another forum that Don at The Modelhaus has a new resin kit of the '64 Dodge D100 available. I have not seen any pictures of it but knowing how great the quality is from Don, I think it is safe to say it will be a nice addition to have! There are 3 trim levels available along with an option to include an 8' foot fleetside bed. www.modelhaus.com
jeffs396 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I like the sounds of that! What a KEWL lifted 4X4 that would make
mikemodeler Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 another possible build would be the Dodge pickup shown on Stacey David's Gearz show that was sponsored by Cherry Bomb mufflers. I wonder how easily it would be to create a 4x4 version with this kit? I like Jeff's idea of a lifted truck.
Casey Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Here's the link: http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4247&p=70030

A passenger side drop D44 or D60, a NP205 transfer case and you're in business! Now start saving, that's ALOT of pennies! Edited January 5, 2012 by jeffs396
Chuck Most Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Throw in a console, bucket seats, and some narrow white 'skunk stripes' and you'll have a model of the forgotten original 'muscle truck'.
Rob Hall Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Cool...nice to hear of a '60s Dodge truck...maybe they will do later variations eventually (I like the front end of the '68-'69 and '70-71 vintage more)...the 'Dude' would be a neat variation.

I think Tom Coolidge at Promolite 2000 did cast a '70 at one time, but it is OOP now.
jeffs396 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Ron @ RMR does a '65 Dodge longbed pickup also...
Bowtienutz Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Man that thing looks horrible, call that the Flodge, looks half Ford have Dodge With the Dodge part not being well done at all. Can't wait to see what Holthaus has done.

Bowtienutz Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Tom Coolidge did a Single cab Stepside and Keith Scorsci did the crew cab from Tom's master Both are OOP but they were very nice.
