Wondering if I should continue this project as a custom, finished shiny model... or go the Dr Cranky route and make it an apocaliptic vehicle...

What do you guys think?

If you go apocalyptic, we will pretend those lowpros are run flats. ;) It would be a great mobile headquarters for such a build.

NOOOoooooo!! Anything can be post apoc. This would make such an amazing piece from the gaudy days of furry dashboards, rolling waterbeds and CBs. It does, of course, undeniably look like a goll dang fortress.

I have to agree wholeheartedly. This thing deserves a furry dash and some bright neon graphics under a shiny coat.

Man, it looks like a great P.A.B. (Post Apocalyptic Build) if I've ever seen one . . . you can go crazy adding all sorts of details to it.

looks great but,

instead of post apocalyptic you could build it as a pre apocalypse still do everyone shiny paint but bolt brand new machine guns and bright polished aluminum armor

just my 2 cents

That might be a great Idea... The first days of the horror... Pre- Apocolypse... lol

Here is where I'm at... Sorry I'm a little ahead of the competition Doc, I'm just buildin' what feels right... You guys are a great inspiration for me to keep it going... I might enter something else in the comp anyway... I'm full of crazy ideas!

Van 5 is the Power Plant I'm workin' on.

Van 8 is what happens when you set it a little to close to the fireplace to dry faster...Melted the roof a little. More body work for me!

Van 11 is the frame I built. still working on the front section. I only had the shell of the van, nothing else. I have to scratch build the floors, frame, everything needed... No curb sides for me : ) The Kenworth bunk is from the same scale.

Hope you enjoy the 2 Mock-ups I put in... Notice the truck box on the roof... Hey, ya got put stuff somewhere! I'm going have 2 huge fuel tanks in the back as well.

Enjoy, and Thanks for checkin' it out guys...

''van is not what i see but an cool 5 wheel race car hauler,,

I kind of see "transforms into a giant robot" :D

Anyway, I love the combination of shapes. I've never seen anything like this, and would love to watch it turn into a porn star hauler lol. This is the kind of vehicle for which oversized metalflake was made. Paint it like a bass boat ;)

Anthony, at the pace you are building, you can probably contribute several TZH vehicles to the caravan! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it in paint.

Sam, that is a cool van you dug up!
