I've decided to give out a hint.

Armor+Utility Sedan=Paladin

Seeing as how I figure at least ONE of you out there know that paladins are destroyers of the undead and upholders of the law (in the realm of fantasy RPG at least)...

...I'm sure someone will be able to at least get a general idea of my secret build :D

...I am having loads of fun with this one too, and that's saying something since I already have lots of fun with my normal builds!

close up of tire

IMG_9640.jpg

im in the same boat (or should i say caravan)

my build runs those same tires in the rear and blue ovals in the front

they are great tires and the most real looking material for tires ive ever seen

i got them in a trade once and have NO idea where they came from

doc, im embarrased to see my build in thw line up, it looks like i just put the body on wheels and thats it

hopefully my next update will be more exciting

its in its second coat of primer right now and ill let the cat out of the bag...it wil be yellow

thats right YELLOW

keep in mind galloper is not a purpose build TZH vehicle, it is more the first set of wheels my guys could get thier hands on when the outbreak first spread and has been slowely modifed since...so no camo on mine

(on a side note, holloween is spelled halloween)

Eelco, come on, we all start at the same place. Don't feel bad. Make your progress at your own pace, nobody is going to tell you otherwise. There's no hurry, buddy. Take it easy and enjoy the fact that his is going to be a STRESS FREE zone! :P;)B)

Ken, what you can put your finger on is the neat idea that not all builds have to be TZH's, meaning Zombie Hunters. They can be for the other side, ZOMBIE CARS! Love the idea . . . and your build represents that kind of infection.

I hope a few more folks will build something from that angle as a way of keeping the fun going!

OK NO FAIR! I had this idea first! LOL Looking forward to seeing what you do to yours. I took mine to work with me tonite (Got it in the mail before I left for work) to see what I can see. I got a couple of ideas & will post pics once I make some progress.

Hey Joe it's OK! They will look totally different!! PK

For those of you looking for spikes, here are some options:

1. toothpics

2. nails/thumbtacs

3. plastic dart tips

4. stretched sprue bits

5. golf Tee, although they might be a bit off scale.

Hope you find this useful.

PAPAFO HERE, lots of cool stuff being built. The ZOMBIES don't have a chance in h#ll with the TZH caravan comming thru.

I'm thinking about talking with my TOLEDO NNL group about doing this for the 2013 NNL theme. We'll see how that goes over with the the group. will let you know as soon as I can.

I also use very small gauge nails. 3/4" long.

Both Robs are right on with those choices too.

Rick, I think if you do this THEME for your club, you'll get lots of people excited about building. And it's a great recruitment tool for younger builders.

Sprues in a pencil sharpener make good points. The old crank by hand ones.

I know a guy who does military airplane models, he will cut the lead our of penciles and sharpen the end of them in a sharpner...looks just like small short range missiles in a plastic tube barrel, or cluster.

thanks doc

i am building this car in the same manner the driver would, make it into a car first, then add the TZH stuff (if that makes sence?)

they wifey has been giving me 15 minute windows after work each day to build which isnt much but at least were moving

i cant wait to get some colour on her though, maybe i can look better in the next slideshow

You guys are great. Now, remember, keep the round of progress pictures coming so that I can add them to the next video, in particular those of you entering the primer stage.

You know the routine, post the best picture you can and I will copy it.

Unfortunately, I had a long day at work, so I'm crashing early tonight.

Hold the fort, my friends. See you tomorrow! Cheers, DC
