2012 POST APOCALYPSE/ZOMBIE HUNTER COMMUNITY BUILD

Recommended Posts

I've tried and tried, but for some reason I cannot upload any photos to post. I've followed the "how to" video and nothing. They start to upload and will not complete and post. Any other suggestions?

I use photobucket. Its free and you get lots of storage space. www.photobucket.com

Just save photos to your computer, go to photobucket and upload the photos. Once you have them uploaded you can go to any photo uploaded and click on the "IMG" link. It should briefly say "copied" so you can then go here and paste the link by doing ctrl +v in your response.

When you do that in the response you will see text show up that looks all coded and such. If you preview post you should see the photo. If you see the photo, then add whatever text you want to it and submit the post and we will see the pics.

Thanks Mark for the info. Tried it...didn't work. Maybe it's me, I don't know. Pretty much have given up trying anymore. I'd say about 50 times is enough for me. If anybody wants to see what I've build so far on my TZH truck, you can go to my youtube channel...find 70judgeman and there is a short video on the truck. Sorry guys...I'll finish the truck, but I'm done trying to post here.

I counted 84, including the names with question marks.

If you guys email me what your building and the name of it, I will keep an updated list of who is working on what that I can post each week or two. Email me your name as it appears in my list or if you are not on the list and want to be (and if you are on the list and aren't participating), let me know at Uberdeath322@gmail.com. Any other info you want included in the list, let me know.

Hey Doc....I am SO disappointed in my Hobby Lobby, Michaels, & Hobby Store. Traveled 40 miles one way as there is NOTHING hobby wise in my town. No luck on any weathering supplies at all :( Any other ideas on weathering supplies or how to make some homemade weathering supplies? Money in tight supply so I need to make it count.

On the plus side I did pick up a, skull & crossbones charm, a metal grate & 2 guns from a 1/24 Huey Chopper, a German HANOMAG Sdkfz251/1, & a 1/35 Howitzer. Will try to post pics later. Can't wait to see if my skills are up to this & if not if I can get them there.

Joe, AK interactive washes are thin enamels, pastel powders are just artist chalk pastels ground up in a jar. Enamels, oils, pastel sticks and chalk make fine weathering supplies. I will be using good old desert dirt from my backyard when it is time to dust up my truck. I'll sift it into an old butter container and brush it on.

I have a couple of small dollar store ladies eye make up compacts. These have a nice waxy eye liner in various rust or brown shades. They are the bomb for rusty exhaust pipes. They even have an applicator but I use a flat brush mostly.

Seriously, look outside the hobby shop, and treat yourself to the make up isle. :o

Time for a update on the '57 Chevy.Since my first post(on page 38) I have made a lot of progress,1st body added more armor and bars to the window.2nd the interior, added a TV screen for a on board camera`s so the driver can keep on eye on the hoard/help weapons control. Also added a control panel for the weapons, made using styrene and small screws.3rd was adding a some sheet styrene to the back of chassis for a flatbed look and a cargo/weapons area. The under side of the bed will be filled in to give it a more solid feel. The 4th item was the chassis. The rear suspension is from a Chevelle donk,it will be added later for a better apperance.Got to find a better front axle, the one I have is for mock up only.Wheels and tires are from a toy truck that was found at Value Village. Also the motor is supercharged 454 from the same chevelle that donated the rear suspension

There is a change from the pics, the bed does not have the two sheets with the curves cut out. This was for some tanks that were made from the NHL version of a Kinder Surprise Egg.I have since changed for some tanks taken from a Peterbuilt truck.

The next update will hopefully be quicker, will include a front protection/weapon,rear deck/tanks/weapons

That is all for now going to continue on the build, and try to figure out a name for it.Thanks for looking

Keith, that's a great vehicle and a wonderful contribution to the SQUAD!

STOP THE PRESSES!

Folks, I'm writing this in big letter so you will pay attention for a moment.

Will everyone take a moment and please take ONE PICTURE (the best picture you can muster) of your build where it is right now and POST it here.

With your permission I would like to make a photo slide video for the Lab-RAT-ory channel of all the your WIPS as they are right now.

THANK YOU! You can post your single picture and then continue on with the build.

STOP THE PRESSES!

no visible progress yet cap'an

but we did run across a burned out chevelle on a scouting mission

it looks like it hit a mine or something that blew the bottom end of the motor out

we were able to scavenge the blower and mount it onto galloper

(keep your eyes peeled for a missmatched hood with firedamage ;) )
