Heres a fews pics of a skyline i did a couple months ago . I scratch built the lip kit and rear diffuser also wide bodied the rear a bit more than it already was , exahust manifold and turbos and turbo plumbing , Ran oil lines and o2 censor lines and put in a oil catch can . I know its not everyones cup of tea but i like both imports and domestic . I just love cars in genral and modeling and try to build the models as id like to drive them . As i do own a skyline i have built quite a few of them .

hope you like what i did with this one

What kit is that? Did it actually have an opening hood with full engine and transmission? Your R32 looks very sweet.

yes it came with engine and tranny its a tamiya kit

I love me some skylines, love seeing them, so my cup of tea, man great job, did you make the turbos your self?

thanks for the good comment . yes i made the turbos

Great work on the enginebay - but...how did the turbos work?

On the drivers side there is the intake, on the passengers side the exhaustsystem with the turbos. How could they work to the intake for more airpressure? It is a mistery to me...did the tubes go behind the front bumper to the intake?

the turbos run from the passenger side down to the intercooler from the intercooler back to the intake side . this is how they they run in a skyline i used my own car to reference from when i did my first skyline build

This is by far my favorite kit you have shared. I love all the scratched aero pieces and the wide body suits the car perfect. Your color choices were perfect with this one, actually could you share what color that is? The coolest thing though, the thing that makes yours stand out is that fact that it has a engine and you detailed it. I am working on a curbside R34 right now I hope to share in a few weeks.

how did you do the extended rear quarters?

I split them from the body on the top and rear bent them out to were i wanted them and used styrene to fill the gap . Sanded the joints and used red spot putty to fill the joints . sand then prime and fill again if needed Edited by jdmfan

I can't stop drooling. Did those wheels and tires come with the kit because I have a tamiya r32 and it just comes with the stock set up.
