gasser59 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Outstanding but it sure looks funny in albino white. I'm in for the ride.
W-409 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Well that looks very good so far. Those rear tires are looking great, and whole detailing in that "interior" is spectacular. Front axle looks very good too, and so does that engine. I hope, I could build as nicely as that some day.
Dyno Davo Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Finally got back to the workbench a little this last week and made some progress. The body panels have been hand shaped from printers aluminium and I'll be attaching them with mini slotted screws. Also got some color on the frame and I've started populating it with the running gear. Using R&M Motion bolts and lots of scratch built stuff. Also used RB Motion valve stems for the rims.
gasser59 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 WOW! Having all of this in paint sure looks great. Fabulous work on this David.
Dyno Davo Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks Brad, trying to keep the colors old school as well.
AZ Boy Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Looking great Dave. The level of detail on this is fantastic!
Romell R Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Using R&M Motion bolts and lots of scratch built stuff. Is it R&M Motion or RB Motion ??? just want to clarify to make sure Robert gets his due credit if its his stuff Oh and SAWEET job on those body panels and running gear!
Dyno Davo Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Yep, my apologies it's RB Motion and yes Robert's products are A1 quality.
Dyno Davo Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Gidday everyone, got some more progress shots, the cockpit is nearly complete and the front axle assembly is also getting close.

Dyno Davo Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 Hi everyone, got the wire wheels built, painted and mounted. Touched up a few bits on the front end as well. Also trial fitted the tin work. Starting on the motor assembly. Scratch built the manifold and idler pulley tensioner bracket.
bobthehobbyguy Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Great model. Would you provide some details on how you did the wire wheels for the front? bobthehobbyguy
W-409 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Great job with the Dragster! Especially those front wheels are amazing, but detailing is super all over. I can't wait to see more of this, since I really like Front Engine Dragsters. Very Cool Build.
