janositamas Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Gentlemen, let me show you my finished Impreza of the Aoshima kit. It went together mostly well except of the fitment of the bumpers and sideskirts, somehow they didn't really want to stay in place. Except those not a bad kit. Unfortunately I lost the antenna for the roof, and painted the rear lights and 3rd brakelight a little more vivid. Here are the pics:
surfjunke Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Beautiful work! Very clean & great finish. Like the look you gave the tail lights. Very cool ride.
jcvt Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 nice build, where did you get the kit from? I would like to build one of those
Erik Smith Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Nice. It's refreshing to see a Subaru built up that's not too modified or a Rally car - I like those too, just nice to see a model of a car I would actually see on the road. Great job on a very clean build.
peter31a Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 That's one nice clean Subie! Nice to see a regular street version as well.
Poncho-Power Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 great work, i've wanted to do one of those for a little while now, just need to find the kit!
martinfan5 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Very impressed, great job, it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, what color paint did you use?
Prostreet Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Nice build, I have been wanting to get one of these kits.
JustBill Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Very nicely done! I hate little cars and what not but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the work that goes into a build. You did a fantastic job on this!
janositamas Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 Thank you Guys! DoubleD, the kit comes with the pre-tinted rear windows! jcvt: this is the Aoshima kit, also available the BBS wheel version, and a 2010 version too (minor changes only), I bought it from HLJ.com I guess... martinfan5: I used some leftover automotive paint I bought in can without any mark regarding to the color code. I decanted it and sprayed with an airbrush.
