To cut a long story short, I was taking the tape off one of the parts trees I had just painted. I used some strong clear tape--we were out of masking tape. Well, when I was trying to get the tape off the tree.....

BAM!

One of the injector stack screens goes flying across the room! Go figure, just my luck. This happens on EVERY model I do, it's starting to tick me off!!!!

It happens to us all. The thing to do is walk away and cool off. Make a Hot Scrapple Sandwich. Relax, and then come back when you are ready.

I don't think it has anything to do with luck if it's happpened more than once. Change what you're doing instead of complaining about it and you'll have better results. ;)

Try laynig the tape down on something smoot and lint free a few times before you lay it on your parts, should help with the aggresiveness of the tape. I use clear drawer liner for making stenciles for airbrushing things. Its pretty sticky, but way cheaper then real frisket, this seems to help it also.

It happens. I think I spend more time on my hands and knees, then modeling.

It could be that he is praying that this model is the one that wins the contest, Harry! :D
