I would like to build one for a coworker who's husband has the real thing but probly won't get to restore it. I built one a long, long, long time ago. and put the wrong year hood treatment on it, too. (I owned a '68, and was trying to replicate it....LOL.) Eshaver Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 The big change was in the hood graphics. In 69, they were stripes as opposed to a block in the middle of the hood . There was a minor change in the amount of openings in the grille . george 53 Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Useing the AMT Mopar Chassis on the JoHan kit is the ONLY way to go. It lets the rest of the model shine as it should! The body is spot on on the Johan kit, but it's 69 design chassis is the pits. Useing the newer chassis brings it into the 21st century. Makes for a GREAT lookin model!
