tabsscale1 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) Does anybody know if Tom Coolidge sells that 50 pontiac Resin body? Edited January 24, 2012 by tabsscale1
Chuck Most Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I know he cast one at one time- I didn't see it listed in his current products album, though.

dimaxion Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 If Tom Coolidge was R&D Unique , Detroit Iron , no . I have one . It is an excellent kit . The only 'rivit count' is the later model V/8 chassis with the duallies . Instead of the Straight 6 or 8 pan . It is a Promo Chassis . Thanx ..
rickcaps55 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Hi I got one from Tom last July it is a very nice promo kit and the chrome was very nice. But when I emailed him back to get one more at that time he told me I got the last one he had and the mold was no longer useable.

That is the kind of luck i have.
Danno Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Tom Coolidge is/was not R&D or Detroit Iron. He is Promolite. His castings are top tier, as good as Modelhaus any day. When the mold wears out, Tom stops casting from it ~ no one gets second-rate products from Tom!
james460 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'll second that. Not only is his stuff really good Tom is a good guy and take interest in what you're building.

You'll not find a better product anywhere and as a person, he really is as honest, sincere and good as they come. I've bought from him and am very, very happy and impressed with his product. You can get cheaper - but with Tom, you can't get a better bang for your buck than from him. The styrene guys really could learn a few things about product quality and customer relations and service from Tom, IMHO. AAAAA+++++++
