Sam Cates Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Well for now it is under glass, and somewhat of a curbside build. Waiting on detail stuff to finish the F/I 427 under the hood. I used a '57 Belair grille insert, 4th gen Camaro seats, steering wheel, tail lights, wheels all from the parts stash and a scratch build console. Lots of filler and sanding to fix the many blemishes in the cab. MM "Ford" purple lacquer over black base and lots of clear. Hope you guys like it, comments and criticism welcome!
James2 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Looks like a clean build. The lighting and dark paint make it hard to see.
crazyjim Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 From what I can see, it looks like a terrific build. SHINY :) RULES!
Chris guthro Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Amazing! the center console looks like the one in my 93 F150. The wheels look to be from a SS454 pickup! Very nice Job on the paint too!
oldscool Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I like the wheels and the grille bar. Paint color is good too. gus
Dr. Cranky Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Lovely details throughout, including those Caddy brake lights.
Bartster Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Pretty truck. I especially like the grille insert idea. Can't wait to see the motor!
Nick Winter Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Looks great Sam, what is that color called? Amazing! the center console looks like the one in my 93 F150. The wheels look to be from a SS454 pickup! Very nice Job on the paint too! Wheels are from an AMT S series Truck Nick
