i built this one to replicate the 1:1 truck i drive at work. everyting from the cab back is scratch built including the compressor. enjoy!

and yes that is a cat whisker for the antenna. if im not mistaken, that was a tip i learned from dr cranky

Great build! I like the photo with a real truck in the background. The model is a pretty close replica. Great detailing!

We have two cats. I've found whiskers on the floor and threw them away - never thought of using them for antennas. Great idea!

Great job. Love the hoses and the trailer. I'd like to do a model of the truck I used to drive, but it was a cable TV bucket (aerial lift truck). Don't have the scratchbuilding chops for that yet
