Haubenschild Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Another kit I got for christmas , I am going to build this box stock with a black exterior and semi gloss black interior , all comments are welcome Here is the body I painted today , the paint is tamiya TS-14 , there is a scratch on the roof which was caused by a flying air hose but hopefully I can smooth it out and not have to strip and repaint
Bartster Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 It's hard to beat shiny black, & that looks great from where I'm sitting. This is actually the last kit I finished.
Haubenschild Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Here is an engine mockup , I know the valve covers are on the wrong sides but i dont want to take off parts that are superglued And could someone who has built this kit tell me if i should attach the fan belts to the engine then glue in place , or glue the engine in place attach the body to the chassis then attach the fan belts like the instructions tell you to do , thanks
Bartster Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Put the fan belt assembly on before you glue it to the frame.
