My haul from Christmas 4 years ago is above.

Here is a oldie it's from Barclay. Original price was $.69, and came with 2 cars. Now the rig(tractor -trailer go for $75.00, and the cars are up to $10.00 each. I have 15 cars, and 2 rigs.

My oldest vehicle I own is this one.

Belonged to my Dad, he got it in 1929 for Christmas. It's not a HW, but thought I'd share.

Finally my favorite, a beer truck.

Cool way to keep a collection going, Joshua, and it's reasonable too, then again for all I know you might have your room full of Mustangs! :D

I have many boxes of all types of cars along with 20-30 of the double sided cases and still have boxes full of loose cars. I ended up with some rare ones along the way. I'll have to see about getting some pics of mine.

I have to say, my favorite cars are the Tomica Pocket Car line. I have a few including a very nice Pantera with opening hood and a Lotus Esprit with pop-up headlights. They aren't worth much but they are rare as they can be and that's why I like them.

I had some of the originals such as the Stiletto

the Turbine

the Nucleon

and the Glasser, which I won at a Cub Scout meeting. I didn't know what all the "plumbing" on it was for, but apparently they made a whole set of cars that could be run off of compressed air

My cars are long gone, but I well remember being a fan of Al Unser and Joe Leonard when they ran J-L sponsored cars in the USAC Indy series (early 70’s).

Al Unser Sr. Won the 1970 & 1971 Indy 500 in a Johnny Lightning sponsored car......(Parnelli Jones Colt-Ford).

I have a massive collection of hot wheels, matchbox and other 1/64ish diecasts as well as 1/43 kits and built-ups. My first love is vintage Matchbox cars. These are the ones I'm the pickiest about, as I only collect either mint or near mint examples. I pick them up every so often when I find a nice one.

dr cranky, I also have a lot of 1/64 diecast. I have about 553 carded JL most of them round one and round 2 sets, most of the time if they did not have a complete set I would shop a round to find the rest of the set. also have 7 clear cases that hold 42 cars per case.19 loose surf rods, 13 loose monopoly, full sets of monopoly on cards and full set of the boxed sets. not counting my HW with about 9 TH's a bounch of 100% hot wheels in the little show cases they came in, boxed sets of 100% hot wheels like moon eyes. also have a bunch of revells 1/64 die cast, rat fink 1/64 die cast, I could go on but I won't I would like to get rid of them all someday. I just don't have the room to keep them any more. joe

No, no, no, A specimen is an Italian Astronaut as in;

"Someday little Luigi will become a specimen and travel to the moon."

My first HW the copper 36, and a redo from a later issue. Still have both.

Love those old HW. I had that 36 in aqua, used to race it w/ my red Hot Heap. They used to give them out w/ a fill up at the gas station. Here's the kicker though: Do you have the badges that used to come with the cars? :)
