Ira Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 SHAKER VAN!!! I built this van back in 2003, but it didn't look finished, something was missing... The chassis never fit quite right, it needed some decals and a liitle updating.... Here is the New SHAKER VAN! Shaker Engineering and Real Flame decals were added... I also cut a third horizontal vent in the rear... Power comes from a Ferrari F-50 V-12 Engine! More Photos Coming...
Dr. Cranky Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Love it, Ira . . . you got the right decals on there an now it's got Pizzazz!
Ira Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 More Updates!!! Replaced the plastic exhaust pipe ends with aluminum tubing, all cut on an angle. Lowered the Van a little more...Changed the license plate. Most of the interior parts are from the F-50 Ferrari. I also added a white felt headliner to lighten up the black interior. The theme at NNL West is 12 cylinder powered cars and Discontinued cars. Shaker Van has both covered! See you at the Show!!!
Chuck Most Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Those decals look way cooler on this than they ever did on the AMT '59 ElCo which sourced them. Gotta love the sheer 'twisted-ness' of a slammed out VW van sporting Prancing Horse running gear.
