Old rust from '32

Could never get a shine on this one.after stripping the paint twice,I went with this look.

I like the way it turned out, what kit did the body come from ? Was the top chopped or did you modify it?

It's the Revell '32 kit.I chopped it,then glued thread on the lines and foiled the thread to simulate welds.My first try with that,came out ok I guess?Thanks for the comments.

nah, probably used some old coathangers and gas to weld it!! lol

forgot...nice build!! i like how sometimes the 'mistakes' come out better than expected...lol

Thanks guys.Roland there is no real method.Just drill holes and put wire in the holes.I used a piece of sprue for the distributor.Doc that means alot coming from the God of Rust.Thank you.The engine still needs some slight weathering,and I'll button this thing up.
