This is my on progres 1/25 scale Fairmonts Pro Stock, one will be the 1978 Glidden car and the other one the 1981 car or the Dyno Don car.

The bodys are by Scott...a.k.a. Futurattraction...also the resin engine in the "open up car" is a kit by Scott, that by the way have made a SUPERB product and of the highest quality and the fact that in my personal experience dealing with Scott was a pleasure and a fast transaction.

Originaly my very good friend Norbert and I got the bodys to make the Glidden and Dyno Don cars, but Norbert is working in two other beautiful and very interesting model car projects and gave me the chance to get his Fairmont so I could build the two cars and one all open up,he even gave me some very important parts from his spare box all as freebies....yes he IS a great friend and my mentor in vintage pro stock....thanks Norbert!!!

I scrachtbuilt and modified the chassis on both cars as well as rollcages and other details, they are a work on progress a a lot of fitting and cleanning is still needed but are getting there...besides I am enjoying every moment of these two builds, hope my fellow forum members find it interesting and to your liking.

Fred

Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought everything Scott sells!!!!!!!! Awesome stuff! I'm going to buy another full set of his parts when he brings out the other Fairmont body with the different rear wheel wells. I want to build a Glidden and a Dyno Don as well! We need to get some good decals made for them!!!

That's cool! Ford Fairmont is pretty cool looking car, and these will look very good when finished. I'd be happy with one Fairmont body too.

Thanks you guys, really appreciate your kind words. Today I did a little more work on them and if every goes well the fabrication part will be over in the next couple of days....then...paint,detailing and final assembly.

I must say that Scott (Futurattraction) did a terrific job on the body and pro stock engine, cutting the panels of the body was a breeze and the way and material the body is molded is like working with a plastic body....or even better!!!

My first new car was a 1978 Fairmont I bought from NASCAR driver Ron Grana while he worked at Young Ford in Charlotte. It was all of $3100 NEW!!! I'd love to get one of htose bodies too.....are they available??
