turn1wonder Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 My last few builds have really frustrated me...so here's one that went together well! ...
turn1wonder Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 Whoops! Got some doubles in there.
Sam Cates Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 It certainly looks to me like it went together well, nice job! Though I am not a fan of M-M-M-Muuu, Muuuu-staangs, it looks quite nice!
turn1wonder Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 Thanks for the comments Ben and Sam Bob
Dr. Cranky Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Beautiful model, and beautiful backdrop pictures. Thanks for sharing. And yellow is a hard color to pull off but you did. Congrats.
turn1wonder Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 Thanks Virgil and Dave. If I remember right that is 1(one) coat of paint without primer. Bob
bigphoto Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Very well done!! I also like the pic of Rosies Diner which isn't too far from me, too bad it is closed down
Sixties Sam Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Very nice Mustang! The yellow looks great! Nice engine detail too. One coat of paint? Wow! The black trim really sets it off nicely! Good work! Sam
turn1wonder Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 Thank you for the comments Tim and Sam. I found a few great pics of Rosie's Diner on the net, great backdrop for a subject...and a great subject itself. This build might have been the first time I tried BMF (also probably the last time I had a new Xacto blade), still not good at it. Bob
cruz Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I see you used different tires, smart! The ones in the kit are ######. I am thinking about doing this one next myself, looks like a great kit. Great job!
kruleworld Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 nice boss. is it painted yellow or glossed up styrene? either way it's a nice clean build. now go finish those other ones.
turn1wonder Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Thank you Marcos and Walter. It's painted and "clean build" is what I aim for when I'm not modifying them much. Bob
Dyno Davo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Now that's sweet. Super clean build and perfect color.
