Very nice built and great detail over all even when one knows that the 1/12 bikes has less detail than possible in this scale.

Thanks Ulrich. I have thoughts for the next one to have ridges on the fender tops and maybe on the tank too. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate a taillight between the fender and tire. Not much room there. I also want to try drilling holes in the single downtube.

Cool chopper! Excellent work on the scratch building.

When I read "Shifty Chopper" though, I expected to see a suicide shifter on it. I haven't seen a bike with one of those in years and years. Hmmm, wonder why?

Thanks, David.

My ex-brother-in-law is an old Harley nut. He has 12-15 of them at any one time. He insists on suicide shifters and kick starters on his bikes. I watched him get kicked back once and he flew over the handlebars. He's about 6'4" and 250 lbs. I can't remember laughing so hard.

Hard-Core can have its drawbacks!

......Maybe a sliver of a hoodscoop like a '67 GTX or '70 Super Bee might fit between tire & fender?

Very Nice Bike Jim...

I have all of the reissued MPC Choppers that I need to do... Love those kits, just can seem to get them started... but you have inspired me to get them out again!

I'll have to think about the hoodscoop, Bart. My mind has been telling me flat styrene.

Thanks, Glenn. I don't think I've ever seen the MPC Choppers, but I'll tell you, those Revell choppers are fun kits.
