charlie8575 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Great job, Bruce. That green is very close to Surf Green; the Ivory, at least to my eye, isn't quite yellow enough for Honey Cream, but it's very close to the Boston Ivory offered on the earlier models. What did you use for the interior paints? Charlie Larkin
bbowser Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Bruce, very nice job! I had to take a double take to make certain it wasn't a Nascar!! LOL! I love the Sage Green, it looks period perfect. Thanks for sharing it with us. LOL, I know right? I've got the Flock kit for the NASCAR. Looking around for decals, I think I want to do Marshall Teague's Hudson as I'll probably do the Chrysler 300 as Flock's car.
rustybill1960 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 One clean sharp build! Whoa! That is some engine! Thank You for sharing Later Russ
TheCat Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Very nice and clean looking build. excellent work.

Jon Cole Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Nice! Hope mine comes out that nice. Better still, I hope I actually finish mine.
mickey1938 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Back in the day, all of those cars had class, all different from one another! Awesome Build!!! bubba
raisin27 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Nice job, I agree its a great kit. As for the hood ornament, there is a slot to open from the underside that it locates into. Raisin
bbowser Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 Doh - 'head slap'. Why didn't I catch that?
Shardik Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 That is one beautiful build! Looks like an awsome kit. And here's where I reveal my ignorance (since everyone else seems to know allready): Who made the kit? And add my name to the list of those who love the color combo.
bbowser Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Johann, the kit comes from a new manufacterer named Moebius. They've released 2 versions of the Hudson (the other is Tim Flock's NASCAR). They are also due out with a 55 Chrysler 300 that a lot of us are drooling over. They also released a tractor trailer rig and have some more stuff in the works. The Hudson is a great kit, well worth the time if you're into the subject.
