crazyjim Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Cool. We were on one down in Alligator Alley a few years ago.
Bartster Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 That looks like some crazy kind of fun right there!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I've always loved this idea. I started one several years ago and never finished it:
blazefox Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Doc your looks like a post apoc swamp zombie hunter
MikeMc Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I love this........But we call those "woods buggys" Used for hunting in the Everglades.....Not quite what goes thru the "Sippie" hole...this might trip your trigger though, as these are the V8 monsters that we call swamp buggies...
rel14 Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 I've seen lots of them down here,, Pretty cool how you can go through such deep water so darn fast,, nascar doesn't have a thing on these monsters,,,
MikeMc Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) Randy thats due to the "wings" under the front suspension. Whats really kool is seeing three of these monsters going into turn one on two or three wheels! Edited April 7, 2012 by MikeMc
Casey Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I used to watch Swamp Buggy Racing on TNN when Diamond P Motorsports covered it ('82-'86 or so?) and I loved it. I think they used to use the tall, narrow tractor tires back then for the rear, but much liek other motorsports, the buggies back then were much closer to homebuilt. I thnk they had a Jeep class, too?
rel14 Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Don't think people understand,, they don't touch the ground 90% of the time, there on top the water....
