fishdatty Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I am going to build a enclosed and open car hauler. Possibly for a drag diorama or a hardcore street race scene. I just need some insperation or ? Thanks to all on this awsome site. FD
Dragracer Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Nice Hawaiian Aaron, I have 2 Galaxie trailers (partialy built), problem is they are in Fl., & I'm in Az.
Joker Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 This one is in the MPC 1976 Caprice.. Added the triangle plate on the front of the trailer
martinfan5 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I have built a few of these You can see more at the link http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af125/nascar49/Featherlite%20Trailer/
jmpsebring Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I'm going to use a '51 White COE custom truck to make a hauler. Right now I have too many projects going to build this. But in time.....
1320wayne Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Here is one that I built many years ago. At one point the entire set was complete but I wasn't happy with the outcome so I'm rebuilding all of them. The tow vehicle is finished but the trailer and race truck still have a ways to go.
jmpsebring Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I like this kind of project as much as high-detail builds. Great job!

Nice ......FD Its all scratch built using evergreen sheet styrene, the only things on the trailer that I didn't make are the wheels and tires. I tried to scale it at 1/24th Edited April 8, 2012 by martinfan5

W-409 Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Are those Galaxie kits still available? I'd like to get one, but if they are hard to find and expensive, I need to think again.
eviltwincustoms Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Are those Galaxie kits still available? I'd like to get one, but if they are hard to find and expensive, I need to think again. I still see them in my local hobby store, so I think they are still available. I see them advertised in the other Model Car Magazine all the time.
