1/25 Scale Tachometer

Who makes a decent 1/25 scale tachometer?

Looking for a tach similar to a Auotmeter racing tachometers

and the older Sun tachometers.

Ive taken an oil filter from the parts box, make sure It's solid, or fill it with putty, paint it add a gauge decal and wire it, add a loop of foil around the gauge face.

Or any round piece of plastic, some spures are big in diameter to be a tach, I have used spure before, and use a gauge decal from a NASCAR gauge set

Revell Pro Sportsman kit has great tachometer, with is pretty close of Autometer Sports Comp tachometers. And the best thing is, that there is a shift light. I installed one in my Nova Stocker, and it looks pretty good.

Holy Cow.... what TOOLS can handle detail at that level of magnitude??? I probably couldn't SEE most of those parts without some sort of readers, and the smaller the parts are, the more my hand starts shaking trying to handle them. WOW!!!

This shows the one in the 64 T Bolt kit...I ran a short wire to the dash.

ive been tryin to cast them tachs from the sportsman kit.. some are good an some have no shift light...lol but still all useable..

I've been using the MCG tach, but looking at that Detail Master.....well.....I MUST order a few. And since I build 70's stuff, the shift light is of no consequence. We didn't need a light to tell us when to shift.

I found a nice tach in the Revell Acura Integra pre-decorated kit. I guess it is in the Integra glue kit.

It has a shift light and pretty nice details. Here's a picture of mine. It's box stock. I painted the wheels aluminum instead of gold.
