Garland SF-03/G Cyber Formula

I was in 2 minds whether to post this here or in "other". But it's a car and if an '89 Batmobile is acceptable Under Glass...

I built this as a change of pace. It's an Aoshima kit from an anime called Future GPX Cyber Formula.

I used 4 different shades of silver & matt aluminium BMF to simulate polished metal body panels of different ages.

I see a couple errors in the paint - the factory stock color for the upper shell should be a dark, matte aluminum.

I think it looks very cool. I can see it is a clean build - nice clear canopy and all that "metal" paint looks great. Nice work and thanks for not opting it as an other, I wouldn't have seen it.

Erik - Sarcasm is good - it is after all the highest form of wit. The "real" thing is blue & white but I thought it looked so much like a jet plane it should be plain metal.

Frank - it's wide but the front wheels are small. Probably scale out to less than 10" rims.

Virg - From what i've seen of the cartoons they don't get up and fight but there are minor configuration changes for cornering or max speed.

Looks like one from the same series David. I got mine from Hobby Link Japan (www.hlj.com) but other websites list them - all as sold out unfortunately.

Maybe they'll repop them one day.
