rctruk Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 This is one that I had painted and partially assembled,so I decided to finish it....lol I'm not sure that I like the decals.
Kodiak Island Modeler Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I like your decals. The whole rig is just dripping with class.
Wagoneer81 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Those decals scream;"LOOK AT ME!!!!!" They are definitely attention getters, which means that nobody should have to use the excuse,'But I didn't see him...' I like it!
rctruk Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Thanks for all the nice replies. Now that I've seen so much awesome work others do...I definitely need to add a little more detail to my builds
scummy Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Truck looks great , the decals look good except for the flames . Just the stripes look 70's style .
Bowtienutz Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Looks good. I would have cut the decal sheet and removed the flames. But now that I see it I'll have to put it on my must get list.
Ben Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 truck looks good, if you took off the flames and the tiger/lion whatever it is you would have a factory paint scheme. I agree. The truck does look great though!
GeeBee Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Very nice build, I would have probably left the decals off if I was building it, but seeing them fitted, they do look real good ....
Brizio Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I never saw this italeri kit build! You did a beautiful job on it!
signguy2108 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Nice build. I would have liked it better without the flames. Other stripes are factory, I had white one with 3-tone blue stripes like these,400 cat 15 speed. oooh boy!
jekylljr Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Nice job that kit is a great replica of the freightshaker flc120
Turbo590 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 you did a great job on replicating the box picture..the flames look good I might have left off the lion's head though... I built a variation of the Freightliner Aerodyne minus the sleeper...a few years back...I can tell you, you did good... Kurt
rctruk Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 I sure appreciate all the kind words. Got me inspired to start another.
Kostas Parchas Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Very nice rig. I like the color and the stripes, I would try to avoid the flames on the sides, on the feeders and that head on the hood. I am not sure, but I thing this will be re-released this year. Kostas.
