I prefer the looks of the first one...but since it has the drive axle up front, you gotta go with the second choice....either way....nice job, one bad A$$ looking truck.

I like the second choice. They suit the style better. Although, they won't exactly match the level and quality of detail you incorporate into your builds without some cleanup of the sidewalls and replacing the less than crisp lug nuts. I never cared for the first ones, they just don't look right on anything in my opinion.

Your right Les they do need alot of detailing that I will have to do. I wish I had some tires that I could use with the two hole wheels. I never cared for them tires either.

Will the budds not fit in the second set of tires or is the second set one solid casting? Even if they were, I'd take a dremel to it, and pop them in there. I do like the second tires, but I much prefer the budds.

The budds are to big for the resin tires.

I have an idea for tires I would like to make a master for, but, it would require work I don't have the means to do. Removing treads from existing tires, cutting and splicing, making slug for tread to mount to, casting that, cleaning up gaps, etc., recasting final tire. A lot of work. I have removed some of the tread. Cutting, splicing I shouldn't have a problem with. The slug I may be able to manage, at least try. The casting is the part I can't do. No materials or experience doing that and don't want to waste the money practicing it. Maybe someday.

Hey, where did you get the good year tire and wheel set on the front? Could use a set for my 6x6 Mack B61 or if you do the set above I will buy some.

I'm going to end up using them but I don't remember where they came from.

Wow. Just.... wow!

Is that telephone wire for the chassis plumbing?

Yes I'm in Telecommunications so I have tons of different gauges to choose from.

Check AITM... those aggressive tires look like something Dave casts. I love the amazing detail work you've done to this truck. One Question though, where did the cab come from?

The cab came Dave@AITM.

James Secor was selling those tires. They might have come from him. I don't think he is casting any longer. I wanna say they are modified steers from the Can Do kit, among others.
