Junkman Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 What I really like are those wedding cake trucks. They would make fine Dieselpunk stuff, no?
hotrod59f100 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Man I bet you feel like your up top the word in those.
Eshaver Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 So are yer kidneys in just a few miles on a bad sterech of I-30 too............ Ed Shaver
Wagoneer81 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 So are yer kidneys in just a few miles on a bad sterech of I-30 too............ Ed Shaver ...Or I-80 across Pennsylvania in the late '80's... Having driven many different trucks from a mid-30's Chevy 2-ton to a 2002, 9400 International Eagle, I agree that there is a lot to be said for modern air-ride technology...
Harry P. Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 How about these monsters. Those are cool. I really like the top one... the way the cab and trailer are designed to be "one piece," very cool! Any one of them would make a great scratchbuilt model. One thing's for sure... you wouldn't have any competition on the contest table!
The Modeling Hermit Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 That car carrier can drop those 55 Buicks at my 20.
Junkman Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 (edited) If you want eye candy, then why don't you just say so... All those were designed by Count Alexis de Sakhnoffsky of Hayes Body Corporation fame. Edited May 13, 2012 by Junkman

jeffs396 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Someone should buy this old GMC cabover: http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1438.l2649 This would make a very cool hauler, street rod, etc!
OhioWrestler Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 One of my favorites is the Mack Super Pumper that was specially made for FDNY...no longer in use. Had a twin that was used just for carrying hose. I cant figure out how to post pictures from my phone sorry haha
hotrod59f100 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Jordan are these the trucks?they are neat . I didn't know they existed .
Tony T Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Okay...this one that Shane posted is interesting...I happen to live in "Ottawa"...will have to see if I can find out something more about the truck of the company. Cool truck, too!
Guest Darkside Customs Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Virgil, here is one I had been working on for about two years... The hood may be crude as this was a first time try for me...
Dr. Cranky Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Very cool, James, I hope you continue to work on it. And thanks for the great eye candy, everyone.
RancheroSteve Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I've got this far: body cleaned up (I'm thinking it would look good in red) and I've got some heavy duty wheels for it. Still unsure of how to build it. Stake bed, tow truck, beer wagon . . . ?
