So are yer kidneys in just a few miles on a bad sterech of I-30 too............ Ed Shaver

...Or I-80 across Pennsylvania in the late '80's...

Having driven many different trucks from a mid-30's Chevy 2-ton to a 2002, 9400 International Eagle, I agree that there is a lot to be said for modern air-ride technology...

How about these monsters.2ae7aafa.jpgabe92797.jpg7998f75d.jpgb1ed0785.jpg

Those are cool. I really like the top one... the way the cab and trailer are designed to be "one piece," very cool! Any one of them would make a great scratchbuilt model. One thing's for sure... you wouldn't have any competition on the contest table!

One of my favorites is the Mack Super Pumper that was specially made for FDNY...no longer in use. Had a twin that was used just for carrying hose. I cant figure out how to post pictures from my phone sorry haha

Virgil, here is one I had been working on for about two years... The hood may be crude as this was a first time try for me...

I've got this far: body cleaned up (I'm thinking it would look good in red) and I've got some heavy duty wheels for it.

Still unsure of how to build it. Stake bed, tow truck, beer wagon . . . ?
