foxbat426 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 looking for a good solid glue that drys perfecty clear and will not mess up the clear plasitic windows - anybody?? so far i've treid elmers glue, but it seems too weak when it dries. i've tried hot glue, but not enough work time. i've tried future clear - again its weak. right now i'm using testors blue tube glue, but i think it messes up the windows - still waiting for it to dry so i can see. thx, john

Chief Joseph Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Krystal Clear. Not sure spelling is correct. If you are meaning Microscale's Kristal Klear, then yes it is a fantastic glue. Much stronger than regular old white glue and dries perfectly clear! The goofy name is a drawback, I think. It's usually sold in hobby shops and you can find it with the other little Microscale bottles of decal solvent and liquid decal film.
935k3 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) I used to use Krystal Klear but I switched to Formula 560 Canopy Glue by Pacer. I will never use anything else. This stuff is as strong as epoxy and much safer to use. I use it for allot more than just windows. Edited May 16, 2012 by 935k3
