BiG PIPES For HOG VETTE!!!

I made the Headers for Hog Vette from Thin-Wall Plastic Tubing. I cut 8 pieces and cleaned up the ends with an X-Acto Knife and Sandpaper. I painted inside the tubes with Flat Black.

I made a Mounting Strip from Plastic and glued it in place. When I glue the Headers in place this will sepparate them from the body.

I cut a couple more strips to cover the backs of the tubes and glued them in place.

These are Ready To Go!

HOG VETTE BELLY!!!

I Cut a Belly Pan out of Sheet Plastic and Painted it Black.

Then I Cut Strips of Plastic and Glued them to the Inside of the Body.

These make Mounts for attaching the Belly Pan.

Here's what it looks like in place...

Moving right along. I didn't notice this before until you put it into primer but I love how those panel lines carry onto the body, over the rear wheels and on the roof. I almost would rather just see it in a solid color so you don't lose all these beautiful lines but it's not gonna matter either way, it's gonna look killer. I'm excited to see it coming all together

Thanks Jason!

Hog Vette should be Finished Tomorrow... B)

I always spray a coat of clear after masking before spraying a second color on a 2 tone paint job. Works good.

Good Suggestion!!!

Thanks, I Lucked out this time... B)

Another cool creation, Ira!! What makes you tick, or have this creativity? Seems like mine's gone out the window, or something...

Sometimes you're hot and sometimes you're not...it comes and goes.

When I am inspired I like to create new designs!

PAINTIN' The PiG!!!

I started with a coat of Dupli Color White Primer, then Brushed on some Tan Acrylic. A wash of "The Detailer - Black was then appllied. Next I painted all of the White Parts.

I used the Slixx "Air Hog" for a guide when I painted the Hogs Head.

Using a small fine brush I painted the Black outlines on the Hog.

CHECKIN' THE FIT!!!

Found the pefect spot for the Hog Head, too far back and His Ears stick out the window, too far forward and His Snout hits the windshield.

The Interior Plate attaches to the Chassis Plate and then it all goes in place together.
