I think what he means is, since UTOPIA means a perfect world, is that in a perfect world we would have common sense and courtesy from everyone. AND in a perfect world we would also have everything we always wanted.

But that would not be a REAL world. We were not intended to "HAVE" everything we wanted. We are supposed to have wants and desires even some out of reach! It is called "DREAMS" without life would be pretty much meaningless!

Look at what happens to those (like pro athletes) that actually have the ability to reach their utopia!

Will a PM from the mod giving the warning point be sent so the reciever of the point knows exactly what he/she did to recieve it?

If not I see a few WHAT DID I DO? threads popping up.

Not to be a jerk, but I'd like an answer to this question please Harry.

I think that's a perfectly legitimate request. If I ever issue any points (none yet so far from me since we did a "reboot" a few days ago and put everyone back to 0), I'll send a PM explaining it.

Thanks Harry, let's hope you don't have too many of those PMs in your future and all moderators follow your lead.

Another question on points, do they ever expire? On another forum I'm on the amount of points given and how long they last are based on the severity of the infraction, I was just wondering if these points were similar.

That's a moderator's decision. It's not specifically spelled out, but if someone gets a point and stays "clean" for a while, I'd remove the point. But it's a judgement call, depending on why the point was assigned in the first place. I have a feel for who the troublemakers are, and who maybe made a one-time mistake.

The easiest solution? Follow the dang rules! That way you'll never have to worry about any of this.

Hopefully, everyone will get the point ... without getting any points. ;)
