Qwit Pushin Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Check your local hardware store, looks like the same stuff used for faucet/drain repair.
camaroman Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Remington Razor!!! Just Kidding... Model Car Garage offer some mesh in photo etch!
ZTony8 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Don't laugh about the Remington razor suggestion.I did that on an Acura Integra. It looks good. The only caveat is that it's better for making 2 small grilles rather than one large one because of the fold in the middle of the screen.BTW,one half of a screen looks like it would a perfect insert in the custom grille shell of the AMT '36 Ford.
sjordan2 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Check A.C. Moore or Hobby Lobby for mesh that is used for dioramas, sculptures, etc. That's where I got mine.
southpier Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) http://www.twpinc.co...24X110T0100W48T request a sample swatch for 10$; might do a few grilles Edited June 6, 2012 by southpier
