Rick Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I was cleaning up my photobucket a little, and stumbled on this one. I don't think it ever got posted anywhere. I started to wonder what it would look like as a two door. As I was cutting plastic and scribing new door lines, discovered a Sedan Delivery would look pretty cool.......
Billy Kingsley Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Very interesting concept. It looks like something that might have been, had GM felt like it. Interesting choice of color, too. I bet that really sparkles in the sun! (I'm a sucker for metal-flake!)
455 Rocket Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Chevy should have kept building the 300 wagons. Nice looking ride.
Rick Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Thanks for the kind words!! It isn't really one of my best models, but it is one of my favorites............. Thanks Again, Rick
camaroman Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Great looking build. How 'bout a master for the casters.(resin casters that is)
Rick Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 Great looking build. How 'bout a master for the casters.(resin casters that is) Thanks, If you're serious, I can probably make another one. It might be easier to do this time since I know better from the last one what works and what doesn't. Rick
Rob Hall Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 That's a sharp build. As far as resin, Drag City Resin has a similar body available.
Steven Zimmerman Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 The Drag City resin Chevelle sedan delivery is actually based on the 66 El Camino body, but since the Elky and 66 wagon share so many of the same parts, either one could be used with that resin body....RMR also casts a 67 in resin, that also includes a cowl hood and an interior that's been slightly tubbed.......Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man.....
