Guest Darkside Customs Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 First time in a long time building something pretty much stock.... I only had a couple fitment issues with the front bumper.... I'll get some outside shots tomorrow...
Guest Darkside Customs Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Thanks bro... It Testors one coat Bronze...
Mopar - D Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Nice Hemi GTX looking for ward to your out side pictures.
Harry P. Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Those were unibody cars... the chassis pan and the body shell were all one piece, and painted at the same time. In other words, the underside of the car would have been the same color as the rest of the body.

But thanks for pointing out my lack of knowledge on that matter.... A simple PM would probably have been a better approach, but Thanks.... Edited June 17, 2012 by Darkside Customs
Harry P. Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Next model, if you're doing a factory stock... do a google image search first. You'll get a ton of great reference photos.
Guest Darkside Customs Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Thanks for the advice.... Will do...
TooOld Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 These cars just look right when they are built stock OOB . Very Nice !
62rebel Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 claim it to have full undercoating... the instructions probably called out semigloss black for the chassis, even though the 1:1 was painted overall body color. i got one of these, unfinished, somewhere, with a white-to-red fade from the front back to the doors....
Bartster Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Very nice job on an excellent kit! l've been putting mine off because of the BMF involved. Your foiling looks great! Bart
Guest Darkside Customs Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Thanks guys.... The foiling was a real pain on this one... I swear this car almost took flight quite a few times...

There you go. Claim it to be from Michigan, or the Upper North snow belt. "It was Ziebart'ed!!!"
