I don't think i could physically paint any smaller - on these particular tires the letters were very small - painted them with a pinhead and a glass of wine!! They didn't come out that great, but i'm leaving them alone. Should I paint the "Steel belted Radial" part also???101_1053.jpg

no casey - i find that the enamel works better for some reason - it's thicker and a bit easier to control

Don't use the oil-based enamel on tires- it will never dry, and will always be tacky. Always use a water-based acrylic on model kit vinyl tires.

I would suggest you wipe the painted RWLs off carefully with some mineral spirits. I have always had good luck painting those letters with a toothpick and some patience.

ok casey - i didn't know that - thx for the tip for sure buddy. yes mineral spirits takes it right off and you know what they are still tacky from last night!
