hemi Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Again as with the luv I posted this one is from revells lightning rod series from the mid 80's.built box stock with the exeption of flocking in the interior.I even matched the box art paint scheme,my colors are not exact but close enuff for me.This kit was so brittle i boke the frame in 6 places and the body in 3 pieces while building this kit, thank God none happened after the paint was applied. The hood is not shown because it to was broken and I have yet to paint it and install it.Again please feel free to tell me what you think. And thanks for looking.
62rebel Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 killer! even NEW the Revell plastic was hard and brittle on many kits of that era. glad to see patience win out!
Bartster Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 l've never seen this kit, but l missed alot in the '80s building 1:1s. Nice looking build. Looks like the kits engine needs more help, pretty sad. l would like to have one of these kits but the motor has to go. Not much you can do with it.
