Big time modeling ADD going on...

Right now I have a near completed AMC Gremlin with a chassis and engine from a '49 Merc and the filled body of the '48 Ford Coupe... Why is it so hard to stay on one subject at a time sometimes???

We all suffer from modelers ADD, some of us have it worse than others. I would guess that I have at least 20 WIPs, but that doesn't stop me from buying and starting more!

I need to focus!! I'm delaying completion of the Gremlin because I hate foiling. Once I do the trim, the rest will fall in place in an afternoon. I found a Lindberg '32 Ford (the one that builds 3 ways) at Hobby Lobby for $10 yesterday and now I'm eyeballing that!!

At least I have incentive for the Merc' - my better half asked me to build it, picked out the color, the grille, hood, side skirts, tire, wheel, and bumper options, and now asks me regularly how it's coming along. I do love it when she takes an interest, it's a great motivator.

Couldn't sum it up better myself! I think I have more WIPs than there are Galaxies in the observable universe!

I'm never going to let bmf ruin my life again! Repeat that 50 times, that's the way I feel. I try to choose vehicles that don't have a lot of chrome but, when I do build one I use a metalic silver pen with clear over. People think I masked all that off all the time. No more bmf nightmares! I have about 8 WIPS going right now but, who's counting?
