This belair took me a while to do back about 2 years ago but I am just now posting it. If anyone has any ways I could've made this better, please let me know. Its just a practice run for chopping stuff out and modding certain things. Plus, I didn't know what kind of plug wire to use and now I do so this plug wire that's in there currently, I don't use anymore.

I like what you've done here . The faded paint , rust and primered spots look great ! Also the interior with the spring popped thru the seat is cool .

I don't get out much , so can you explain the things on the roof ?

Thank you so much for the compliment. And I'd be more than happy to explain the roof. It is as follows:

i first drilled multiple spots on the roof using a mini hand drill "pen vice" starting with the 4 corners and then sawed the roof off little by little using the mini atlas super saw.

then I used tooth picks and measured them by eyeballing them in the middle and then sanding off the edges.

after that I used some sort of metal looking paint to create the effect of metal tubing welded to the top and then glued them in there

I also painted the glue to make it look like welds.

other than that I think thats it. I would post more pics on here but I am very new to forums and dont know how to add more photos :(

I believe it's supposed to look like a big removable button top.

Great work on the removable top and the rest of the car, some great detail. Welcome to the site, don't ever be afraid to add more photos. If you can't fit them in on one post then just add a reply and add more pics. If you have pics of the build up you can always start a build up topic. Nice build

I just don't know how to add photos to a reply. What button do you press to add another attachment? This is like the first forum I've ever been actively involved in

Haha I understand, believe me. Just add photos the same way you did in your first post above, no button. Sometimes if you have a bunch of photos the forum will only allow you to post so many at a time. Just put a few photos in each post to save you the time and hassle. Hope that helped.
