Johann,

Good to know. I've been concerned for my friends in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs ~ ~ ~ hope they didn't get that much of that rain on either the High Park fire area or the Waldo Canyon fire area ~ they won't be able to withstand the flooding!

I know Arvada ... I was involved in the development of Kenilworth Apartment Community (probably not called that any more) on the SE corner of 88th and Wadsworth in '72 - '73 and another large complex in Colorado Springs.

I attended/graduated from CLETA in Golden in '74.

Still have family in the Tech Center area, Northglenn and Ft. Collins. And friends all over the front range and Continental Divide ...

Stay frosty ...

Danno,

No flooding...yet. We are under a flash flood watch all along the front range, with thunder storms forcast from here to the eastern plains. Here's wishing your people up in Fart Collins the best of luck.

We are in central California and at 11:00pm it's still 93 outside. We've been at 109 for the last couple days but at least we don't get high humidity. I work outside for ten hours a day so haven't gotten anything done on my models for over a week. The other problem is that while my workroom is our air conditioned spare bedroom, my paint room is the garage which is neither cooled nor insulated.

We boast about the high temps being in the 110 and above range, However IMHO the worst time is at about 10PM when its still 104 degrees and the overnite low is going to be 97. The next days forcasting warns of dangerous levels of OZONE with recomendations that you should'nt be outside anyway. when I was a Kid we had clear skies and beutiful weather for the most part all year around.

Yesterday afternoon/early evening it was mid-70s and lightly raining. Smells like a tropical island now and is in the low 70's.

Gotta love the So Cal coast...

We're starting a stretch of 90-ish+ and plenty of humidity.

Between the heat and a horrible sinus headache I've had the last day or so, I've been sleeping a lot today.

I'm watching the weather now, and it's going to be warm, humid and generally not fun at all tonight, with some isolated thunderstorms over the weekend.

Looking forward to fall.

Nope, I'm in still in Massachusetts. We get 1-2 weeks of this per summer usually, although there have been a few where it's been like that for weeks on end.

Low 90's and severe t storm alert just hit. Flash flooding likely, thank goodness I live up on the mountain 900+ feet above the valley floor.

Showgurlz are a runnin' for cover, nothing worse than wet feathers.

Jim that date is firmly set on my calender!
