Lets just use the example that I click onto this forum every day or two and click on "View New Content"......It tells me how many pages of new entrys and new comments on old entrys in all catagories.....and if I scroll down thru the pages there is nothing missed no matter what catagory that it was or is now posted in. The only ones missed are the ones that I've chosen to not click onto. Is this not the case?

True, but not everyone uses the view new content , I dont, I just never think about it.

Why not? It is just too easy.....even for a computer dumby like myself. The header even tells me what catagory it is in. :)

The problem with the "Pickups,Vans,SUVs and Light Commercial Trucks" is that there is nowhere to post a finished build. It's just like going on Scale Autos site and having to go through every post to see if it's a WIP or a finished build.

Pickups, Vans, SUVs, and Light Commercial Trucks

Post your pickups, SUVs, and other non-big rig trucks here, either in progress or "Under Glass."

Yes, the Model Trucks Section has no separate "On The Workbench" and "Under Glass" categories, like the Model Cars section does, but that's the way it is. It seems inconsistent to me, too, but I don't lose any sleep over it.

The first 40 pages of Model Cars - On The Workbench hav ebeen cleared of non-car subjects, so if you see a non-car subject there and think it shoul dbe moved, please PM me. Ditto for any other sections.

As an FYI, I consider El Caminos, Rancheros and any other vehicles with beds trucks, so that's where you'll find them. If I feel it fits better into on the of more sepcific categories, such as NASCAR, Drag, etc., that's where it'll be found.

There will always be debate about what fits better where, so please let's not dredge up that debate again. Let's work with the categories as they are now and accept the changes, regardless if you agree with them or not. Looking at the big picture, what's important is what you post, not where it's posted.

Now this is pure ignorance as even in the 1:1 world ElCaminos and Rancheros are put with the cars, NOT repeat Casey NOT put with the trucks as they are ALL car based, bed or not!

Can't believe that this is still being debated. I prefer the separation of cars and trucks, since I barely build cars and would rather just look at all trucks. Seems to be working out fine the way it is, and if there is a separate under glass added for trucks, then it would be perfect IMO.

Edit: Even though Johnny was a bit direct, he is correct. You wouldn't put the Subaru Brat or Dodge Rampage with the trucks, even though they have a pickup bed.

You're right. We've debated this before, and the final decision has been made, so let's move on, please.
