Jantrix Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I was perusing my 1/24 Revell '37 Ford Coupe kit (Goodguys version) today and I find it comes with an optional mono-leaf and straight axle front end. The mono-leaf has some serious arc so it's obvious it was intended as a gasser-style set-up. However the parts are not mentioned in the instructions, nor are the mounting points obvious on the chassis. Does anyone have an earlier version of this kit where the parts are recognized and perhaps show me a shot of the chassis? Thanks.
Draggon Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I just looked at my kit, and tho the parts are there, Revell modified the frame so that straight axle no longer works. Heres a pic of the old 37 Sedan instructions, and link to the model instructions site. http://public.fotki....t-fender/#media
Jantrix Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) Thanks very much. Any one got one of these older chassis? Edited July 15, 2012 by Jantrix
1930fordpickup Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 That is the front axle that was popular for awhile.
