Terror Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 This is the idea so far.Been wanting to do this for some time now, so here we go.
Jantrix Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) So far so good! And you gotta explain the title. Edited August 10, 2012 by Jantrix
Monty Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 And you gotta explain the title. Rickshaw His model has an inline 6-cylinder for propulsion, hence the name, although I'll admit I don't get why he spells it that way.
Terror Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) The name? Well Monty and Borgis got it.I like to play with spelling. At first, when Rob asked. I thought It may have been offensive. So I did a google on it and found out ,oddly enough there is a shop in PA called Sikxgun choppers,Kinda fitting now,and yes it's a ricksha frame. Not to sure about the body yet ,and I have to lower the front end too.oh yea, thank you for the comments. keep 'em coming Edited August 10, 2012 by Terror
Terror Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 I lowered the front a little and found this body to throw on it.Not shure what color to paint the frame,,maybe white. thanks for checking it out.
Terror Posted August 18, 2012 Author Posted August 18, 2012 Thanks Edward,I thought more people would like but hey,I'm still looking at it on my bench.Gotta figure out an interior yet.
GerN Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Definitely different, and obviously original. Lookin' good.
CemetaryAngel81 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Very kool idea,Terror! Yes there is showrod, called the Barris Rickshaw, can't post pics of it from this phone, not a favorite of mine but it's got it's charms. I think your build is looking bad@$$!
JasonFL Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I'll be honest, wasn't a fan of it when I first took a look. I thought I'd give it a second look and I'm lovin the new body choice, made one hell of a difference. The only I might change would be the exhaust going under the frame, I think it would look cooler shooting over the frame rail pointing downward. Looks great tho, keep it up.
Terror Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 thanks guys and yes the exhaust is just there not glued on yet ,but it will be over the frame.I got the ricksha kit for under $10 sent to the house.
