sjordan2 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 The Sesto Elemento. $2.2 million. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. http://money.cnn.com/2012/08/17/autos/lamborghini-sesto-elemento/index.html?hpt=hp_t3
JamesW Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 2.2 MIL for a TRACK ONLY car? If I bought a Lambo I'd wanna drive it daily.
sjordan2 Posted August 17, 2012 Author Posted August 17, 2012 I bet anyone who can afford 2.2 million for a car can afford to streetify and federalize it.
Harry P. Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I don't know about the rest of you, but if I could afford to spend two million bucks on a car, I'd buy myself a really nice car... and invest the remaining $1,900,000. Spending two million bucks on a car (even if you can afford to do it) is just nuts to me.
Haubenschild Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) Ugh , I really do not like this car . All that body work is making my eyes sore And for 2 million dollars I'd rather buy 3 nice cars that I could drive on the road without any modifications. Edited August 17, 2012 by Haubenschild
Brizio Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 They are doing what Ferrari did in 1987, with the F40. But unfortunately the Lamborghini is only for track. So probably it will be a flop...
Sixx Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Harry is right. I guess the filthy rich just like to waste money. I'll be the trash can!!!! LOL!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I don't know about the rest of you, but if I could afford to spend two million bucks on a car, I'd buy myself a really nice car... and invest the remaining $1,900,000. Spending two million bucks on a car (even if you can afford to do it) is just nuts to me. For that kind of money, I would open the World's Largest Model Car Museum. And still have enough left over to treat everyone to lunch at least once. LOL.
Austin T Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 $2.2 mil and it's only got a V-10? for that I woul want a bigger engine,can anyone say V-20?
sjordan2 Posted August 17, 2012 Author Posted August 17, 2012 What's the big deal? You're only spending $1 million per second for performance from 0 to 60.
Fat Brian Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 The Ferarri FXX has the same arrangement. Ferarri will ship it to just about any track you want and crew it for you but you can't take it home.
Jon Cole Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Money is no object for the buyer... they won't care if it's never driven.
jaymcminn Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) All of these will wind up in large car collections- mostly in the middle east, some in Indonesia, some in Russia, etc. The kind of person who will buy this car will pretty much have his own racetrack to drive it on...or is in a position to not worry about getting pulled over. Cato Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Every new supercar thing dreamed-up these days looks like Tim Burton designed it for yet another ad-nauseum, dark Batman flick. Know how we got from the exquiste Miura to this cut-slash, overwrought darth vader ?-The Germans bought them.
