Spending two million bucks on a car (even if you can afford to do it) is just nuts to me.

And for 2 million dollars I'd rather buy 3 nice cars that I could drive on the road without any modifications.

The Ferarri FXX has the same arrangement. Ferarri will ship it to just about any track you want and crew it for you but you can't take it home.

Money is no object for the buyer... they won't care if it's never driven.

All of these will wind up in large car collections- mostly in the middle east, some in Indonesia, some in Russia, etc. The kind of person who will buy this car will pretty much have his own racetrack to drive it on...or is in a position to not worry about getting pulled over.
