Platerpants Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 This is my 64 330 built from the mavericks kit. I liked it simple yet fairly detailed the only thing that got me was the fact it didn't have windshield wipers like the street version. So here's the link if u wanna see the WIP.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62503&hl= Now for Pictures There's 16 so there will be 2 posts. Not sure if i positioned the exhaust too far back but for a weeks build i don't really care. It was also hard to find info on the first 426 Hemis and the 330 cars.
Platerpants Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 The engine has an MSD ignition system (ditributer, wires, starter, and the little red box) if you were wondering what that was.
High octane Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Nice build on that Mopar as I have one sittin' on my shelf also. If I get around to doin' another one I'm gooing to raise the ride height a bit all around so it looks a little more agressive.

Greg Pugh Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 It's been fun watching your building skills progress. Each model gets better and better. Keep at it!

Platerpants Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 well on to senior year of high school but dont think that will totally stop my building
oldscool Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 That is a well done model and your foiling looks good even up close. Don't stop now, you are just getting good at it.
crazyjim Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I like SHINY :) purple. White interior - not. Had a '69 Camaro once with white interior. I kept a bottle of Windex and some towels inside to keep wiping the seats.
