i got the engine gunked up a bit......

i forgot i had this stuff, but for the manifolds, i used REAL powdered rust.......a buddy of mine sent it to me a while ago, and it really works nice.

a bit more progress guys...

plug wires installed.

i made a fuel line from some thin soft wire

fuel line installed, and a little more gunk added.....i should have the engine done in a couple hours, then its on to the interior.....

i still have to hit the engine with some magic powders, im doing the pulleys,belts, alt and ac comp now........stay tuned.

the engine is nearly complete.......just have to make an alt bracket, and add the heater hoses and vacuum lines......

ok, the engine is done! well, it still needs a coil, but ill get to that after the body is on the frame......

i forgot.....i made the alternator bracket from some watchparts..........im sure it will make harry happy. :D

Great work on this, weathering and fabbing is great to follow.

A tip regarding the engine, Olds engines have a hose going from that nipple in the middle of the driver side valve cover to the side of the air cleaner, it scavenges excess crankcase vapors.

yep, just havent installed that hose yet...
