Hello,

I need this....

...and the closest I have is this:

Any suggestion?

I think the Ferrari challenge wheels are the same ones in 1:1, as well as most LeMans and ALMS cars. If there is a street version, I can come up with something to hide the lug nuts pattern if needed. Pegasus has a similar set but I can't find it anywhere....

Thanks,

Thanks,

The Sakatsu rims are too small, too many spokes. The BBS RE's for Challenge cars aren't quite it either. However, Scale Motorsports detail set for the C6R will have the proper BBS wheels. I would imagine someone may end up casting them in resin at some point, as they're a necessary wheel for a lot of road racing models, and so far the kit companies haven't come through. The Revell AG C6R LeMans is a waste; still has the OZ wheels ;) Or perhaps SMS will offer the wheels separately (being aluminum they won't be cheap).

Try StradaSports.com and look under Sakatsu. Part #sak103 and sak104 ,wheel rim BBS type.

Hello,

Sorry for hijacking my own thread, but are you Brendan Howden, the race/sports car modeler from the Cobra Colors gallery? If so, Welcome to the forum!!!

You have to share with us your impressive work! Did you ever finish the McLaren and the IMSA 300ZX?

You will love it here.

If you are not, welcome to the forum anyways :(

Thanks,

Iszy aren't the BBS wheels in the C5R Vettes? I seemed to remember that they are because they should have been the OZ wheels.

Hi Len,

The C5R has the older style BBS that was used early in the C5R program. Those are the ones I have but the spokes are a bit different (smaller spoke split). That second picture is from the first C5R I built. That's what I'll use if I can't find anything closer.

Thanks,

yes and yes

look under gpma.org in the NNL WEST 2007 file. My cars start with the DBR9 and end with IMSA 300Z.

The McLaren is not a good kit.(Studio 27 F1-GTR "Ueno Clinic" LM95)

Thank for the welcome.
