martinfan5 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Here is Aoshima's 2012 Nissan GTR R35 kit, this is a new release, I got the kit about two weeks ago, this one does have the VR38DETT motor , its a pretty simple build of the engine, but its there which is nice. Here are the pics of whats in the box
niteowl7710 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Looks like a nice modified reissue, this one is on my "To Acquire" list.
cruz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Love the rims on that thing, cool looking kit!
Bennyg Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Nice. In some ways it appears better than the tamiyas version of the gtr
Greg Myers Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 What does "Pure Edition" indicate Jonathan ?
martinfan5 Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 What does "Pure Edition" indicate Jonathan ? I have no idea Greg, but I am going to try and find out
niteowl7710 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I think it's just one of those "lost in translation" things. Just like most Aoshima car kits are part of the "Best Car GT" series and no matter what the subject any non-racing vehicle (and a handful of racing cars come to think of it) from Tamiya are part of the "Sports Car" series. Nothing really all that sporty about a Citroen, Morris Cooper or a stock VW Beetle...
martinfan5 Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 James, thats what I was thinking, and think you are right
niteowl7710 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) James, thats what I was thinking, and think you are right Considering the "E" in edition isn't capitalized. Also my other personal favorite, any reasonably stock Fujimi automotive kit is part of the "Inch Up" Series... Edited September 4, 2012 by niteowl7710
