Howdy all, happy labor day. Just a recent WIP,,a swap meet trade,,a total glue bomb ,,was already built, So I took it apart,,stripped all the paint and rebuilding from the ground up. Got Slixx decals for it on the way now. This is the 1st AWB cornet I have,,should be fun. Cheers!

Resin or plastic body? If resin do you know who the manufacturer is/was ?

I have a couple extra of the polar lights snap kits and have been thinking about making my own .

Great project!

I have the same one planned with a JF body but put it on hold. I keep thinking one from Speed City would turn out better for me as they are real nice to work with.

Keep us posted!

love it!! have done a few AWB cars out of plastic. too cheap to spend cash for the resin stuff. hey, if that grille has 1 headlight on each side, by all means get it to a resiin caster!!! i have been looking for that single headlight grille forever!!!!

will be watching the progress.

Speed City does both grilles.

BUT, I think it's based on the old AMT body.

The Polar Lights grille will NOT interchange with the AMT grille.

I sent the speed city grille to Tubbs if it does not fit I think I have a Jimmy Flintstone one also.

I am a big fan of the Speed City stuff. They also have some really cool velocity stacks and other AWB goodies.

I will see if I have any photos of the linkage set up.
