cobraman Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Not sure I ever saw one of those built up before. Pretty cool.
Fcefed Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Thanks something alittle different. It was hard to get all the chrome glued together.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Beautiful. I'd love to see more photos of this one including a few closeups of the engine and engine bay. Thank you.
Fcefed Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Thanks I'll try to take some with the Nikon Tommorrow afternoon.
Jantrix Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Nice work. I had a chance to get one of these at a swap meet last year. I regret not picking it up.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Wow, Mike, lots of chrome on that engine. Beautiful. Thanks for posting more of these pictures. Again, congrats.
Fcefed Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Thanks Dr.Cranky now if I could get the hang of airbrushing and get a paint job any where close to the quality of yours I would be happy. I just picked up airbrushing with a double action and took alittle getting used to. Decided to get a single action and figured start with the basics.
Chris in Berwyn Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The paint looks pretty good. Do you have a polishing kit? That will help you take the paint from its current condition to potential show quality.
Fcefed Posted September 7, 2012 Author Posted September 7, 2012 Thanks I put some wax on it. Might experiment with some different types of products see if I can bring the shine out some more.
